So last week, all we did was PARTY. Really- that's all we did and I am still tired! It all started Tuesday with our Young Women in Excellence night on Tuesday. It turned out really well and I was so proud of our sweet Young Women! It was kind of a stressful night, though- decorations, gifts, refreshments, etc. Quite a party.
And then all the preschool Halloween parties started! I was Dorothy all day Thursday for my two 4 year old class parties and then a witch on Friday for my 3 year old party. FUN!
Friday was also Aspyn's 10th birthday- yay! So we woke her up with breakfast in bed... she LOVED it! She got to take treats to school and then got out early to go to lunch with Grandma. We were supposed to go swimming with her friends that night, but at the last minute we found out the pool was closed for a Halloween party. So, her friend party was postponed- we'll go tomorrow night. Just what I need- another party! :)
Saturday, we hosted a small Halloween party with my brother and his kiddos and my sister and her hubby. Blayke and I seem to have a little too much fun dressing up. This year we were nerds and Blayke found these AWESOME shirts at DI!
Then, Sunday we had Aspyn's "family" birthday party... more cake, more ice cream, and more presents! She had a ball!
Last week in the middle of all of this, I found I couldn't get out of bed early to work out two mornings. I was really beating myself up about this until I thought about everything I was doing that week. Too bad I was basically living on cake, cookies, ice cream and Halloween candy... kind of a rough week diet-wise...oh well. This craziness only comes once a year! Thank goodness!

Oh man, what happened to Ty's red undies? They were so much cuter!!!
We had a very similar week! Lots of preschool parties, all of the Halloween fun, and all of the birthday festivities. I always forget Ty & Aspyn's bdays are so close!
You are doing WAY better than me though. I didn't even attempt to work out (not that I ever do).
Oh Marcy, I think you may loose some clout with your favorite mother-in-law when she sees your "nerd" shirt that mocks quilting! Way to goto drop down the totem pole! Diane
Dear Marci! I fear you may have lost some clout with your favorite mother-in-law with your "nerd" shirt that mocks quilting! Now your family will be spending cold winter nights without any warm grandma quilts to keep them warm! I hope somehow you can survive that big, big faux paus! Diane
